- Description
- Thoracic anesthesia workshop provides the opportunity to learn the technique of lung isolation with double-lumen endobronchial tube (DLT) and diverse types of bronchial blockers (BB) for adult and pediatric patients. And also, the participants will have a chance to practice the advanced lung isolation in challenging clinical cases such as difficult airway or tracheostomy. In addition, we have a lung ultrasound section and acute pain management section with human models and ultrasound.
- Learning Objectives

- Understand the anatomy of tracheobronchial tree
- Practice the basic lung isolation technique with DLT and BB
- Practice the advanced lung isolation technique in difficult airway, tracheostomy, pediatric patient
- Learn how to diagnose the lung disease with ultrasound
- Learn about the regional block for acute pain related with thoracic surgery
